Instagram is a social network that was launched
in 2010 and acquired by Facebook in April 2012.
Members of the Instagram community share photos and videos from a mobile application currently available for iOS and Android Phones. Users can also use Instagram.com to view their newsfeed and browse user profiles.
Brands are increasingly adding Instagram as a marketing and social engagement platform alongside Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn etc.
